Release date for the film The Lovely Bones that stars Rachel Weisz with Susan Sarandon and Mark Wallbergh has been set. The DreamWorks adaptation of the Alice Sebold novel is being directed by Peter Jackson, and is scheduled to reach the theaters on March 13, 2008.

Stars flock Chopard store opening

Sir Elton John and Adrian Brody have attended the opening of the new Chopard boutique in New York.
Liz Hurley, Rachel Weisz, Maggie Gyllenhaal and supermodel Eva Herzigova were just some of the other stars at the jewellery store launch on Madison Avenue.
John, who’s said to be a big fan of Chopard jewels, was the guest of honour for the evening.
The company has worked with the musician on events for his Aids foundation.
He said: “I’m here in a small capacity, returning a favour to them for a very big favour they do for us. They’re great people and great humanitarians.”
The Chopard store is the 100th and largest store to open.

Harper’s Bazaar fashion magazines best dressed women in Britain 2007 list comes out Thursday.
British actresses Sienna Miller (18th), Keira Knightley (21st), Rachel Weisz (22nd), Kate Winslet (23rd) and Emma Watson (24th) didn’t make the top ten, but did get acknowledged for their style.
The full list appears in the December issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

The last layout was just way too dark for this site so when I saw the amazing Disney shoot I just had to use the image. I hope this is more “Rachel” than the previous one.
